Alumni associate announcement

I am honoured to announce that I have been elected Associate of the Royal Academy of Music, a recognition awarded to alumni who “(…) have distinguished themselves in the music profession and made a significant contribution in their particular field”.

My time as a postgraduate student at this historic institution was undoubtedly the most important four years in my life—filled with exciting opportunity, but also plenty of tough (nonetheless important) competition. Consistently ranked amongst the world’s top 5 music universities, I am even more proud of this recognition, which will be awarded at a ceremony in Duke’s Hall, London in May.

I am also delighted to announce that I will be doing several recital performances in London the coming season, starting 15th June with an all-Grieg evening recital at the National Liberal Club organised by Kettner Concerts, celebrating the composer’s 180th anniversary.

I would love to hear from you—say hi and do leave a comment on this Facebook post if you’d like.

Stay tuned for more!

All best,
Thormod
